Erev Rosh Chodesh HaGeulah 5771

Dear Community Member,

Rabbi Yechezkel of Kuzmir used to note that others then to freet fellow Jews during this joyous season iwth the Berachos of "A Freilichin Purim un a Kasher Pesach" (A happy Purim and a Kosher Passover). However, he used to reverse the blessing, preferring to greet people with "A Kasher Purim un a Freilichin Pesach" (A Kosher Purim and a happy Passover). He reasoned that Purim, with its natural joy, required a specific blessing in order to guarantee that the holiday would reamin Kosher. At the same time, he wished people to relax their natural nerves of Pesach cleaning and preparation and recall that Pesach too, is a time for joy.

As in years past, my goal is to present a compilation of some of the best resources available on the internet for you. To that extent, I thank the OU,Ok, COR, CRC, Star-K, Rabbi Gershon Bess, Dr. Arlene Mathes Scharf, Rabbi Eliezer Eidlitz and the Vaad Harabbonim of Elizabeth/Hillside for allowing me tocopy some of their resources and present them herein. The lists are not final. For the most updated Pesach informaiton, check out the following recommended sites:
